A guide to cozy games with maximum chaos energy (ADHD-approved)
If you’re anything like me, you love cozy games—but you don’t always play them the way they were intended. Sure, I’ll decorate the house and harvest the crops… but also? I might summon a demon, emotionally manipulate a wizard, and leave corpses to rot.
As I sit here listening to pop goes punk greatest hits on repeat, I bring you this curation of Cozy Games That Let Me Be A Menace. Whether you’re fueled by ✨vibes✨, snack breaks, or a complete disregard for the main quest, there’s something cozy-chaotic for you.
The King of Cozy Games: Modded Minecraft
Tags: cozy modded Minecraft, chaotic Minecraft builds, Minecraft ADHD gamer

Peaceful survival? Nah. This is Minecraft, but with 300 mods and no self-control. Obviously, I’m a fan of anything fantasy themed, so of course, Fantasy MC Fabric is my go to.
Menace Moves:
- Hoard enchanted gear from a sky village and forget how it works.
- Make a villager breeding camp.. what? it’s ethical. and 100% necessary for mending.
- Build a homestead. Forget to sleep. Meet your demise. Respawn 560 blocks away.
- Dedicate a shrine to your first minecraft pet
pssssst.. I’m playing this pack on my YouTube channel!
Fields of Mistria
Tags: cozy farming games, ADHD-friendly games, romantic sim games

Soft art, dreamy farming, and enough freedom to rearrange the entire town three times. Fields of Mistria combines the cozy farming themes of Stardew Valley with a deeply suspicious obsession with a shrine.
Menace Moves:
- Flirt with every NPC and commit to none.
- Make a living by selling potatoes. Only potatoes.
- Gift people literal trash and see how they react.
- Level your plot. Remove every tree, rock, and log. Wait
The Addams Family-vibes of Cozy Games: Graveyard Keeper
Tags: cozy spooky games, graveyard keeper tips, Stardew Valley alternatives
A dark, funny take on cozy simulation where your job is… slightly cursed. Graveyard keeper is the ultimate cozy game for those of us who appreciate the macabre, and don’t mind slightly trigger-warning worthy concepts.
Menace Moves:
- Make a living by selling.. ethically questionable meat.
- Let demons take over your graveyard.
- Pick every dialogue option that’ll make your little skull buddy hate you.
- While doing an autopsy, leave the body there to rot.
4. Wizard101
Tags: nostalgic MMOs, wizard101 chaos, cozy magic games

A magical world where you can cast spells, wear ridiculous outfits, and spiral into chaos. Wizard101 banks on your competitive spirit to look and be the best. You also get cute pets to train, and an insane amount of side quests (that definitely don’t play a role in level progression to Dragonspyre).
Menace Moves:
- Start a questline you’re definitely under-leved for (Meowiarty.. looking at you).
- Make your sole purpose be to become a Grandmaster Gardener, Fisherman, Photomancer, and Crafter.
- Become max level only to never use the PVP arena
- Hoard reagents. Use only driftwood and deep mushrooms.
Final boss of Cozy Games: Disney Dreamlight Valley
Tags: dreamlight valley tips, cozy life sims, Disney cozy game

Disney Dreamlight Valley: the game where you can decorate a magical village surrounded by your favorite characters… or slowly lose control of your inventory and use NO decorations for their purpose.
Menace Move:
- Trap Goofy in flowers while hoarding every ingredient, plant, and flower known in the game.
- Follow Donald Duck and laugh each time you see him trip and fall.
- Get on Scrooge McDuck’s bad side.
- Make Remy lose his mind by watching you cook badly.
Bonus Game: The Sims 4
Tags: sims 4 cozy gameplay, ADHD sims players, sims chaos legacy

We all know it. We all love it. The Sims 4 is the original menace vessel Chaos is literally part of the experience.
Menace Move: Legacy challenge? More like “forget they exist after 3 days.”
Chaos Gremlin’s Final Thoughts
You don’t need combat to feel powerful. Sometimes the most powerful move is abandoning your in-game responsibilities to gift a villager a beetle, farm experience in boss fights, or build a 12-story mushroom house.
These games let you be creative, cozy, and just the right amount of unhinged.
You’re not a villain. You’re a ✨gremlin✨ with good taste. Embrace it!
